Venus Transfer Vehicle "Armstrong" as the Sun Rises

One of the coolest un-flown Apollo Applications Program projects was a manned Venus mission, using the S-IVB and Apollo CSM as an interplanetary ship. Phase A of the project would have been a test run of the ship in Earth orbit using a standard Block II CSM. Here, the VTV (Venus Transfer Vehicle) Armstrong waits for the sun to rise on the Adonis I mission.
