Apollo X-ray Telescope

During the Apollo Applications Program NASA studied a series of foldable large-scale structures that would launch and deploy using Saturn rockets and the Apollo CSM. One was an X-ray telescope, depicted here in its free-flying configuration after being deployed by the astronauts.
