USAF-230

USAF-230, an up-gunned Brilliant Pebble based on the X-wing. The satellite has four interceptors, as opposed to the standard Pebble with one. They would be used to intercept ICBMs and other targets. The core of the satellite includes tracking equipment not present on the standard Pebble. When Ronald Reagan started the Strategic Defense Initiative to develop space based weapons it was quickly nicknamed the Star Wars program. This is part of my ongoing project to reimagine Star Wars vehicles as real 80s spacecraft, as if SDI really was Star Wars.
