International Mercury Explorer

The International Mercury Explorer, my concept for a crewed Mercury mission sometime in the mid-2100s. The design is based on the astrology symbol for the planet. The forward part of the spacecraft is a spinning habitation ring with four modules. Attached to the ring are four magnetic field generators that would create a bubble around the ship to protect it from the radiation of the sun. As they spin, they would create an aurora-like effect that would be visible in certain lighting conditions. At the back of the ship is a nuclear reactor providing propulsion and power. It has four big radiators to dump the waste heat. I plan on making a crewed spaceship for each of the planets, each one based on the planet's astrology symbol. They will range from the near future to the hundreds of years in the future.
