Luna 16 (launched 1970)

Luna 16, launched in 1970. First successful robotic lunar sample return mission. After multiple failures of the Ye-8-5 bus, Luna 16 was a success that the Soviet space program needed while they refocused efforts following the Apollo 11 landing.
