TIE Station

In 1984 Ronald Reagan created the Strategic Defense Initiative (or Star Wars program) to upgrade America's anti-ICBM defenses, potentially ushering in an era of space warfare. In this project I try to envision SDI in a retrofuturistic way by using the iconic shapes of the ships from the Star Wars movies as inspiration for hypothetical 80s spacecraft, here, a laser-carrying TIE space station, ready to knock out US satellites.
