TIE/D Redesign

My take on the TIE/D droid starfighter from the Star Wars Dark Empire comics. It was introduced as a starfighter for the reborn Emperor Palpatine's new empire. The story included lots of tech built with Sith magic, so I tried to push this in a biomechanical direction. I never read the comics, but I remember seeing the ships from this series in the Essential Guides and I thought it would be fun to bring the TIE/D more in line with some of the other pieces of technology and artwork from the series.
