ASTP-2 Undocking and Heading Home

ASTP-2 undocks and the ships start heading home. This is my idea for a joint Soviet-US lunar docking and orbiting mission, a follow on to the original ASTP mission. NASA's Apollo-II would extract and carry the docking mechanism from a Saturn V and meet up with the Soviet Soyuz 7K-LSK in lunar orbit. There, they would dock and conduct joint lunar operations. At the mission's end the ships would undock and the Soviets would stay in lunar orbit for an extra day with the docking mechanism, practicing solo lunar operations and running further experiments. Then they would dispose of the docking mechanism and follow the Apollo-II back home.
