Early Version of Discovery 1 from 2001: A Space Odyssey

Discovery 1 went through many design iterations during 2001's production. I modelled my own and put together this render based on Roy Carnon's concept art, as found in Taschen's "The Making of Stanley Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey.'"
